ITEM DESCRIPTION: Ultraman Metal Bust - Limited Edition - #0393/1000Manufactured by : Magic Q / MagicQCountry of Origin : JapanThis auction includes: Ultraman metal bust numbered 0393/1000. The limited edition number is engraved on the side of the bust. There is a 1966 year engraved on the bust. This does not indicate the year of manufacture. It indicates that the bust is of the ORIGINAL Ultraman (aka Hayata Ultraman). Silk lined case with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) glued to the case The COA is embossed/stamped with a seal and signed by someone from Magic Q Development Co., LTD. The COA cannot be removed from the case! The COA has the matching 0393/1000 number that is engraved on the bust. Original Cardboard box that the bust and case came in. A small folded heavy-stock paper with notes about the quality, care instructions, and a message from the manufacturer (see picture). NOTES: - This is an official Licensed product by Tsuburaya Productions. (It is engraved on the side of the bust, and visible on the box.)- I do not know the exact materials it is made of, but there is an included paper that states : " This product is made of high quality material, plated with silver or bronze. "- The Ultraman metal bust is attached to a wooden base.- The metal bust itself is heavy (feels very solid), and the wooden base swivels on a lower wooden base that has its own embossed metal plate .- Dimensions ( SEE PICTURE WITH THE BUST AND CASE NEXT TO A RULER ): The case is approximately 6" x 7.5" x 9" The bust itself is approximately 6" high- Weight: Approximately 3.8 lbs (case and bust)- I do not know the exact year that the bust was manufactured. As noted above, the bust has 1966 engraved on the bust, but that indicates the year Ultraman made his debut in Japan. - Magic Q made busts of other Ultras, including Ultraman Jack, Ultraman Tiga, and Ultraman Leo. This auction is for the ORIGINAL Ultraman only . I have seen the other busts occasionally show up on eBay, but I have not seen the Original Ultraman bust pop up for years. CONDITION: - The bust is used and was displayed in my home for quite some time before being put into storage for the last 4 years. - The bust appears "aged", and by that I mean it has slight imperfections within the metal. There is an included paper that states : " This is an excellent product of Magic Q Development Co., Ltd. It may be slightly different in appearance from each other due to the nature of our semi-hand making production. " So if you see any imperfections on the bust, it is most likely a direct result from Magic Q's manufacturing / casting and buffing methods.- The silk lined case's interior appears in great condition. It has a metallic Ultraman logo (visible in the pictures above) that has a slight metallic patina to it though. The case exterior looks like it is leather, but it could be faux leather. I can't tell the difference.- The outer cardboard box has shelfwear and is in good condition, but it is definitely not mint or near mint condition. Some of the corners of the box are smushed. I have included a picture (with a holographic sticker) that shows what I mean by "smushed". OTHER NOTES: I am not the original owner. I believe I acquired this back in 2006 or 2007. My internet searches for additional information on this product indicates that this may have been produced in the late 90's or 2000. That would make this roughly 14-15 years (or more) old. I believe I have described everything as accurately as I can, and have included as many pictures as I could, however..., if you would like to see additional pictures, please message me through eBay's messaging system.
