DESCRIPTION: X-Men # 76 (June 1972) X-Men vs. "the BANSHEE" (from issue 28 from Jan 1967) The Banshee was among the Mutants featured in the "X-Men 1st Class" Movie--like many Mutants he began as an opponent of the X-Men and later became a team member, looking much different than in his Jan. 1967 debut! Writer: Roy Thomas art by Werner Rot h ABOUT X-Men "Reprints" (Issues 67-93, 1971-1975): after the Neal Adams run (issues 56-65), the series went into a "4 year pause" while Marvel considered their future direction. These reprint issues bring back semi-key or popular X-men (and other classic Marvel) tales from the 1960's by the greats: Steve Ditko, Don Heck, Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and more...and for MANY years were often ignored by collectors of X-Men whom generally collected only issues 1-66 (or else the "New team" from issue 94 and forward). For the last 5 years or so these reprints have skyrocketed in value and a collector looking to assemble a complete Silver/bronze age run of X-Men can no longer ignore these issues.
