VERY SIGNIFICANT SCARCE PRE-CODE ISSUE containing one of the most amazing ads I have ever seen!! Only 4 copies of this issue have ever been graded by the CGC - the highest being Fine+ so finding one of these in ANY condition is something to celebrate! Unslabbed but it means you can appreciate the OUTSTANDING full-page ad in this faboulous issue. It announces the return of 3 of GOLDEN AGE MARVEL'S GREATEST SUPERHEROES - SUB-MARINER, THE HUMAN TORCH and CAPT AMERICA. In several decades of comic interest I've seen this ad only a couple of times. It signifies the illustrious past of Marvel comics and its future as well!!!! The cover art is ghostly and compelling! Contains a werewolf story. No writing, no tape, no cut-outs. Rich black background front cover. Rust-free, clean well-placed original staples secure from cover to center. Fully readable. Off-white interior pages. I bought this from a high profile seller as a VG but I'm pretty strict in the grading dept so I'm calling this VG- condition. Throw away the guide on this fabulous scarce example of pre-code ATLAS considering its scarceness and that it has one of the most significant ads ever!
