Lovely and large original INK and WATERCOLOR UNCLE SCROOGE model drawings used by Walt Disney comic artist Pat Block as referance for drawing covers and interior stories for Gladstone/Egmont and Gemstone UNCLE SCROOGE comic books. Painted on heavyweight Arches 300lb watercolor paper, in ink and Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors, this very nice original painting measures 23" by 13" and is signed by the artist. It features two great big portrait shots of the miserly Uncle Scrooge up to his neck in money, and an expressive, happy, full figure shot of Scrooge throwing his money up and letting it hit him on the head in the classic Carl Barks tradition. Block is a past winner of the CBG "Favorite Inker" award. His charity auction watercolor pieces have surpassed the 4000$ mark for a single painting. is a chance to bid on a lovely piece, at no reserve. T are a few pinholes in the upper corners, w this was tacked to the wall of Block's studio. Otherwise, very fine condition. This is an original painting model sheet....NOT a copy or print! Also included is a signed comic with a Pat Block Uncle Scrooge cover. Block's work is appearing currently in Gemstones line of Walt Disney comic books.
