Beautiful original painting of everyones favorite richest duck, Uncle Scrooge McDuck. Painted with Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors on heavy French paper, this is a warm and golden portrait of Scrooge in his most natural of settings, his famed Money Bin. Also included in this auction is a copy of UNCLE SCROOGE from Gladstone's run of the title, with a cover by Pat Block. The book is signed by Block with a little sketch of Scrooge.The painting measures a nice big 12" by 14" with Scrooge taking up a good amount of the page. Tons of coins in the background, and the big Vault door and ladder. The piece bears the title "Buried in his Work". Pat Block together with Shelly, have produced stories and covers for Walt Disney's Comics &Stories, Uncle Scrooge, Donald Duck & Friends, Mickey Mouse & Friends, and a dozen other titles in the USA and abroad. Currently appearing in the American Gemstone/Disney monthly comic line, Pat and Shelly's books can be ordered through Amazon, Wal-Mart's online store, and Barnes & Noble Bookstores.
