For sale: Rare sheet of uncut unframed Disney Dollars featuring Minnie Mouse ten ($10) dollar bills issued in 1990. This sheet is #60 of 300 and is signed by Matt Mew, the illustrator. When Disney Dollars were first released, Disney released a specific number of uncut sheets, usually framed and sold at the Art of Disney stores at Disneyland and Disney World. They sold a few unframed sheets, such as this one. I have purchased both from Disney...framed and unframed. The sheets that I purchased unframed, I had framed locally with both sides glass, so the designs are visable from both sides. You might consider this when they are framed. Uncut sheets of Disney Dollars are a great investment and something special to hand down from generation to generation. This sheet of Disney Dollars have never been displayed, so there is no fading on them. Disney shipped them to me in a tube, and they have stayed in the tube since 1990. I will use the same tube to ship them to you. In picture #3, which shows the signature of M. Mews, you'll note a slight crinkle in the paper. This will not show when they are framed. In pictures #2 and #3, note that the sheet includes the original strip of color printing across the bottom. I ask each time I visit Disney and have been told that they no longer sell the uncut sheets. Pictures #4 and #5 show the reverse side of the Disney Dollars. There is a great history of the Disney Dollars at . This is a smoke-free home. If you have questions, don't hesitate to email me.
