Zais oilwick cap lamp. Manufactured by Fred B. Zais of Frostburg, Maryland. Zais began manufacturing oilwick lamps in the 1870s. Lamp has double wall spout for burning "sunshine" fuel, as well as liquid fuel. Lamp appears to be unfired and has the majority of its original tin-plating. The lid has become detached from the hinge. No dents, no rust pitting. Lamp measures approx. 2 1/8" to top of lid. See my other auctions for more mining items. See my website at
