Offered is a Sterling Silver Match Safe or Vesta, 2 1/4" x 1 1/4".
It is marked with the Unger Brothers hallmark and "Sterling, 925 Fine".
It weighs 21.5 grams or approximately 3/4 of an ounce.

The match safe is beautifully embossed with a sea serpent chasing a mermaid.
The interior has a gold wash. Both front and back have the same design with excellent detail and workmanship.
