My oh My! EXQUISITE & BREATHTAKING describe these very very unique vintage pillowcases in minty condition. No signs of ever been used. These are made from all cotton medium weight tubing - 20 1/2 x 31 down to the beginning of the crocheting on the side fold. The focus of the cases are the center 5" deep crocheted pineapples [don't they represent "welcome"] and the Irish crocheted rose/s - 1 1/2 x 1 1/2. Each "pineapple" is accented with bright embroidered little flowers in pink, blue and gold with green leaves/stems. Along the front of each case are 4 more crocheted inserts. The far left and far right match the center in design and size. Between them are 2 smaller ones which are each 4" wide. The drippy lace effect has a 3" drop with such an ELEGANT grace on the pillows. The back of the cases have a straight hemline and are finished with 1/2" of hand crocheting in the same bubblegum pink. One tiny smudge as shown...should easily soak out as these do need to be rinsed or washed before use. These too were purchased from an estate and have been put away for a number of years.
