This auction is for one European-style bread tray, measuring 16-1/2 inches long by 5-3/4 inches wide by 1 inch tall. Pattern number is 1745 . The artist on this piece is Maria Starzyk. The colors in this piece are: shades of cobalt blue, pale red, shades of green, warm brown, and warm golden yellow on a creamy white ground with detailing in black. The bottom os the tray is creamy white . The premiere pottery from Poland, Unikat from Ceramika Artystyczna is hand-painted and signed by the artist. Collectors prize this stoneware for its quality craftsmanship, while everyday users love it for being safe to use in oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher. (But don’t take it directly from the freezer to the oven/micro; allow it to warm up, first.)
