I was fortunate enough to obtainall my Polish Pottery from a large estate. Therefore, I can pass my savings onto you! Be sure to look at my many other Polish Pottery pieces I have listed for sale. DESCRIPTION This particular item is a wonderful oval serving platter. It measures approximately 8 ½ x 5. It is marked 3157, BZ 166, Unikat and embossed 301. It is signed M. Starzyk. This platter is absolutely gorgeous! It is fantastic, colorful, breathtaking, MINT condition Unikat Polish Pottery. All the pieces I have for sale have never been used; only displayed. In Polish, Unikat is the word for unique. Unikat Pottery is all hand painted and hand made in Poland by an exceptionally skilled artist. The Unikat pattern may not always have the artist signature on the bottom, but a Unikat piece will ALWAYS be stamped with “UNIKAT” on the Polish Pottery. It is distinctively designed, has sophisticated details, and each piece of Unikat Polish Pottery will never be exactly the same. Polish stoneware is cadmium and lead free . It is intended for everyday use as well as for decoration. It is microwave, dishwasher, oven and freezer safe . Although I will try to describe each item as good as I possibly can, I urge you to look over the photos carefully as some of the “markings” are not easy to read and I may interpret an “m” for an “n” in the spelling
