Union Mills J27, renumbered as LNER 2389 - a loco that was on the GE section between 1923 and 1939. Has been repainted, renumbered using Fox Transfers. The tender coal rails have been remodelled to something nearer NER style and a real coal load added. Loco has had cab windows glazed. Lamped for pickup goods. Loco has also been weathered. Loco was a regular performer on the exhibition layout "Parnhams", appearing at the Warley NEC show amongst others. Layout has now been sold on by its owner and most of my prewar loco fleet is being sold- one or two repainted to BR livery. This one is surplus as I already have four of the type in BR colours. Tested immediately before listing. Ran smoothly in both directions. UK P ost free (1st signed-for), Outside UK £10.50 contribution towards the cost of International Signed-for.
