A piece of history. Cast iron, super detailed door lock plate from the Union Pacific Headquarters. Recently it has been glass bead blasted to remove 100 years of multiple layers of paint. It has a new spray coat of gold paint. The plate measures 7/16" x 2-3/4" x 10-5/8".These were installed in the early 1900's in Omaha at the U.P. Headquarters. They are all gone and the building will soon be demolished. All are in private collections or in railroad museums. This door plate is in excellent condition. Please e-mail me for specific questions. You are bidding on one door plate. T is no knob. Will work with regular antique door knobs. I don't use PayPal.
