Very Unique ALASKAN NATIVE AUTHENTIC HANDMADE LARGE HIDE DRUM, signed by a famous Alaskan NATIVE ARTIST. A special, one-of-a-kind Alaskan collectible. Beautiful large 22 inch round hide drum, made from Alaskan all-natural wood and hide materials. The handle is made out of Caribou antler. It comes with a beautiful sculpted wooden drum beater, which is placed in the carved hole in the caribou antler handle (shown in the pictures). The Native artist's signature is on the inside of the drum's wooden rim. This elegant hide drum is of the style of drum that was used in the movie 'Never Cry Wolf', when the Alaskan Native elder was on the tundra beating the drum. It has that same beautiful and unique sound, like in the movie. This is a great collectible piece of authentic Alaska Native artwork, plus an Alaskan Native cultural drum. The Alaskan (Inupiaq and Yup'ik) Native Artist said :"The drum is the only instrument we have in our culture. It's used to create the heartbeat of our people. They say when you strike your drum, your inner conscious is awakened." It is in excellent, mint condition, ready for you to take a beautiful, sacred Alaskan Native piece of heritiage and culture into your home. Best offers considered. Shipping to United States only.
