These types of stone are completely natural and has not been treated in any way to enhance the luster. The quartz has really cool ribbons of fire looking coloring through each stone. This is an incredibly durable stone and will only become more beautiful the more the rosary is used. It allows for long hours of use without having to be cleaned and taken to a jewelry shop for repair. It has a very nice weight as well. The crucifix and center are SOLID 925 STERLING .
