Ebay is banning the sale of all Ivory beginning January 1st 2009. This is a beautiful antique Chinese Genuine Elephant Ivory Figure Bookmark in very good Condition. This bookmark figure is hand carved from one piece. The elephant bookmark measures approx 2 & 3/8 inches long, and is 11/16 inch across, and is very thin as shown in final picture. The ivory graining is quite visible. The bookmark has been well cared for thru the decades and has a aged warm patina coloring. The bookmark has some carver knife lines that look like cracks until viewed under a magnifying glass and you can tell item is not cracked.
