Ebay is banning the sale of all Ivory beginning January 1st 2009. This is a beautiful antique Chinese Genuine Elephant Ivory Figure Bookmark in very good Condition. This bookmark figure is hand carved from one piece. The elephant bookmark measures approx 2 & 3/8 inches long, and is 11/16 inch across, and is very thin as shown in final picture. The ivory graining is quite visible. The bookmark has been well cared for thru the decades and has a aged warm patina coloring. The bookmark has some carver knife lines that look like cracks until viewed under a magnifying glass and you can tell item is not cracked. This bookmark figure is in very good condition, and has no breaks, no chips, and no missing pieces. No Reserve price. Always READ the listing and the fine print BEFORE you bid on ebay.
