You are bidding on a ' UNIQUE OLD CONE PLANE' This is a very nice old plane. I bought this plane at an auction, of a old woodworker. He built and repaired furniture. The cone itself, without the bit, measures about 3" high. The cone at the base measures 3 1/4" across. The blade is still very sharp, it doesn't look like its been sharpened. The blade does adjust in and out. And as you can see in the picture, it has a depth gauge thats adjustable. The adjustments work smooth and freely. The plane is used to sharpen dowels. The bit fits a hand brace. This would be a nice addition to your old wood work collection of tools! I try very hard to be fair and honest in my auctions. I hope this shows.
