Unique Pittsburgh PA Lamp & Brass Bird Eagle Handle Banquet Parlor GWTW Oil Lamp UP FOR AUCTION A great old Pittsburgh banquet or parlor oil lamp base. Lamp is a good old hard to find example, in original un-electrified un restored condition. Lamp has scrolling non-magnetic brass patina (brass or white metal) removable handles, brass Nouveau scroll trim and connector, brass plate cast iron foot, and a dark red / maroon decorated iron/steel font holder. Takes a typical 5" drop in vase font. Unique Eagle or bird handles on this one, I can't say that I have seen another example like this. Lamp is signed underneath, made by Pittsburgh Lamp & Brass, Pittsburgh PA , ca 1890s - 1910. Very large lamp, measures about 10" tall, almost 13" across at the handles, and 8" across at the foot. Compare size and form to other fully outfitted lamps (Not Included!!) in the last photo. Lamp base only is being offered in this auction. Lamp is in excellent condition. No major dents or breaks or problems. I see some waviness on the foot connector and some chipping/wear to the red over paint. Needs some cleaning, polishing, and restoration perhaps. Neat looking Eagle handle parlor lamp base for collection, restoration, or use in your home! Careful packing International to be calculated by Ebay Due to a bountiful "picking season", we can't possibly read more
