“Gish & Co. ceased operations at some point during 2007. The ending of the company's operations was brought about by the death of the founder and chief artist, Mr. Nicholas Gish. on December 23rd, 2006.” Up for auction is a very collectible and unique Cinderella thimble signed NICHOLAS GISH on the side. It is the CINDERELLA THIMBLE has a unique design. On the outside is an image of Cinderella with a pink faceted jewel above her head. The front lifts to reveal her two magic slippers that can be removed from the holder. The heels on the slippers are designed to hook into the holes.A wonderful collectible thimble, made by the famous pewter designer Nicholas Gish. a collectible thimble and a wonderful future investment for the collector. I am selling 3 Gish thimbles and will charge 25 cents extra for shipping each individual thimble.
