UNIQUE! Soviet velvet banner / LENIN Russian This is an original 1960's UNIQUE Soviet era velvet banner. The banner is unique in having an embroiderd and silk solitary large bust of Lenin on its front. Under the Lenin bust is the slogan, 'Under the Banner of Marxism-Leninism, Under the Leadership of the Communist Party - Forward, to the Victory of Communism!' The banner is approx. 4 ft high and 5 ft long. The banner is fully embroidered with a huge high relief USSR Coat-of-Arms on the other side. The C-of-A is completely embroidered even the letters in the ribbons of the republics. The Marxist slogan, 'Workers of All Counties , Unite!' is written. The banner is made of a thick heavy red coloured velvet with gold fringe. It has a slot on the side to hang it on a pole. The banner is in excellent condition and would look great displayed. T are very few of these banners left especially in such pristine condition so don't miss this opportunity. A nice relic from the Soviet era. Payment PayPal or US money order.
