I'm still going through the old Jewelry I purchased from a local estate sale of an Antique collector. This estate is just endless! She has collected jewelry from her travels for the past 50 years and I am passing on these treasures to you!. is one of the Most Unique pieces I have ever come across. This bangle is just so Different! It hails from the turn of the Century and has a Sterling ornately designed front- and the back is all grained wood! T are 2 places w the wood widens and it is hand carved with a Bird all detailed with wings and an eye. The bangle measures 3/8" wide and is 1/2" wide by the Bird carvings. The silver is unmarked, but has tested to be STerling. It measures 3 1/4" around the bangle. The inside measures 8"- it will fit any size wrist! It is most Unusual- a real Conversation piece! It is in excellent condition with no damage and it has original warm patina. It weighs 27.6 grams and looks Terrific on! A great piece of Victorian jewelry! I have not cleaned or polished the piece, I will leave that up to you. This makes an excellent addition to any collection or would make a terrific gift.
