Album Sweet Pease Spivey (real first name is Addie) is accompanied by a small Jazz Band consisting of Henry "Red" Allen on trumpet, Charlie Holmes sax, Luis Russell piano, and Will Johnson guitar, and she sings "Leaving You Baby" on this unissued vinyl Victor single-sided test pressing.

The matrix is BVE-57556-2.

Take-1 was issued on scarce Victor 23361.

This was recorded on November 25, 1929. Visually the record is in excellent-minus (E-) condition, but it plays perfectly. The white label is torn around the center hole.

Sweet Pease is Victoria Spivey's sister.
