This is a very vintage FUEL PUMP AND SPEEDOMETER SERVICE - UNITED MOTOR SERVICE sign. The sign is 30 1/4" wide and 22" tall. The Steel material is .054 thick. The bracket that is with the sign IS NOT OLD - but it fixs the hole pattern and works well. The bracket is made of 1" angle iron. The sign is two sided. It has extra holes in the sign (see photo). In the lower left corner of the sign is - "MADE IN U.S.A. A - 492. In the lower right hand corner is the UNITED MOTOR SERVICE old car logo. I would GUESS that the sign is from the 1920"s or 1930"s. I have put a VERY - VERY reasonable reserve on this sign.
