1890's. New York & Boston Despatch Express Co. corner cover addressed Broadway New York and with black on green label '(104) RETURN GOODS by New York and Boston Despatch Express Co./ 200 Franklin St./BOSTON' at right corner, not tied. Enclosed are 2 orders for celery and a note, all on Kinsley Express Company paper. Note reads, 'Jim, Send me down 2 or 3 heads for myself. I want to give them to the agent here in Boston...' Cover wrinkled but address legible.
