United States- AR (Silver) Peace Dollar (1922), Philadelphia Mint. Obverse: Liberty facing left with the legends: 'LIBERTY', 'IN GOD WE TRUST' & '1922'. Reverse: Majestic Eagle on Peak with the legends: ' UNITED STATES OF AMERICA', 'E PLURIBUS UNUM', 'ONE DOLLAR' (& 'PEACE' -on Peak). Issued under the terms of the Pittman Act (without congressional sanction), the coin was designed by Anthony De Francisci as a commemorative medal for the ending of WWI.
