's a really nice canister from the 1940's made by Universal Potteries. This is one piece from what is called a stack set. The pattern is one with steps, flower pots and a curved door or garden gate, couldn't find the exact pattern name in my books. The steps up to the door are lined with bright colored flowers in cobalt, red, yellow and green. The canister is sectioned into raised panels, and is trimmed with red on the top and on the edge of the lid. MINT condition - no chips, no cracks or fleabites and the gold mark on the bottom is still bright. Size is 4" tall x almost 5-1/2" across. I've had this stored for the last 15 years, so the colors are still bright and true. I charge only actual shipping (never a handling fee!) and accept Paypal or money orders for immediate shipping. Personal checks delay shipping for at least 10 days while the check clears.
