Universal Statuary Corp. 1976 Standing Native American Sculpture Indian V.Kendrick Chicago, IL This is a striking rendition of a Native American that I acquired from an estate sale. It stands about 15½” tall, and has a square base that is almost 5” across. On the back it says Universal Statuary Corp. Chicago, IL 1976, with a signature of V. Kendrick. It is my understanding that the Universal Statuary company was started in the 1940’s and sold in the early 1980’s. This is an eye catching piece that has wonderful detail. I found one crack on the base between the feet (see close-up picture). All items stored in a smoke free, pet free area. Please look at the pictures closely.
