University of Wisconsin Football Enamel Sterling Spoon
This listing is for a hard-to-find vintage sterling souvenir spoon with great detail and craftsmanship. It came from an old estate which had a large collection w almost all the spoons were from the early 1900's. We have some of the others currently listed as well. The tip of the handle on this spoon shows a cute little owl with jeweled eyes. T is also a large enameled "W", a globe and the words "Alma Mater". The back of the handle is really cool as it shows some people playing football, a book and some golf clubs. The bowl of the spoon has a University of Wisconsin emblem. The date "07" is engraved on the back of the bowl(see pic). It is in excellent condition with no dings or dents and little to no tarnish. It shines brightly - any darkness, white spots or discoloration in the photos is from camera glare. It measures approx. 5 3/4" long and is marked on the back(see pic).
