A MASSIVE e and extensively illustrated and loaded Parallel-Column Edition of the Holy Bible from the turn of the century, including full page (incl Gustave Dore) engravings and chromolithographs (color engravings). This nicely preserved and likely never used Family Bible has gold gilt pages and the inscription (in gold letters) "Holy Bible" and "Pronouncing Parallel Bible". The Holy Bible containing the King James and the Revised Version of the Old and New Testaments arranged in Parallel Columns. Additionally there are extensive other resources included, like: color maps, Psalms in Metre; Marginal References; Chronological Tables; History of Ancient Biblical Manuscripts; History of the Revision of the Bible; Animated Nature in Bible Times and Lands; Patriarchs, Priest, Prophets and Kings; History of the Books of the Bible; Smith's Self-Pronouncing Dictionary; Bible Stories for Young People; the Hofmann Gallery of New Testament Illustrations; Concordance and so on....
