Wow, where do I begin...I am not a stamp collector. I inherited this collection of thousands of stamps from a friend. He started collecting in 1941 after being crippled in an auto accident. He collected anything and everything until he learned gunsmithing. Then he forgot about stamp collecting. I tried to do some sorting but realized it would take a whole lot more time and knowledge than I had. I did find some stamps dating back to the 1800's. There are 10 complete sheets of unused stamps from the 1940's, plate blocks, first day issue and bunches of other stuff I don't know how to describe. There are also crystal mounts, a color gauge, and several books. Probably 95% of the stamps are US and then some real interesting foreign ones. The photo does not show nearly everything. If you like gambling, make a bid. There could very well be some valuable stamps here. At the very least you could take out what you're interested in and resell the rest. and
