This Basket is the 5th and Final basket in the " Traditions Collection " Series which features 3/8" weaving and Heritage Green accent weaves. Beginning in 1995, this Retired Series each year introduced a new, never to be used again Basket Form which was specially designed to honor the traditions so important to the Longaberger family. The Generosity Basket, honors the vow made by Dave Longaberger during his basket business' struggling years "to give something back". The Basket is an elegant heirloom that may be used to hold scrapbooks, a gourmet picnic or your favorite quilt but it was also designed to inspire us to tap into our own time and talents to make a difference in the world around us.
