Double your traffic. ANTIQUE COLLAR/SHIRT STUD - BASEBALL THEMEITEM DESCRIPTIONThis auction is for the pictured antique or Victorian single collar or shirt stud. The shape of this piece is a baseball cap and on top it has crossed bats. I believe this is called a shirt or collar stud - but I have "unpinned" it in the photos so you can see how it works. On the inside of the hat it is marked PAT NOV 1875. Very cool. The piece appears to be gold filled or plated however is not marked as far as metal content goes. A piece of old jewelry like this really makes you wonder who owned it first, and what its history is. I have never seen another piece like this with a baseball theme! Some wear to finish but nothing major. This would make a really cool display piece. In order to wear this piece today, you would need to place in a button hole or cuff that holds cuff links because it can not make its own hole like a normal pin (Just to be clear on that).Please carefully review photos for condition and feel free to ask any questions!
