Nice find buried in an estates attic in New Jersey is a Victorian Solid Oak Banquet Table with 4 leaves. Table has heavilty carved paw feet and apron with four matching 9" leaves. Top has a beautiful 1/4 sawn grain finish and is very very heavy and well made. Dark original vanish finish is dirty from sitting 75 years but should be kept and just polished. Pictures show the grain and the quality of this victorian find. Top measures 48" across 29" tall and all leaves are 9" each/ Table also retains the correct carved round center leg to support leaves once they are installed. One paw foot is missing a piece but can be carved my a cabinet maker at a modest fee. Legs can be removed to be moved easily. Nice find in a pack rat attic full to the rafters with great 1890,s furniture most being listed this week. This table would enhance any dining room and is sold to high bidder with NO RESERVE Local pick up in New Jersey at 07825 zip code and can be well stored till you arrive. This table is very very heavy solid oak and example such as these are hard to find with the correct leaves good luck
