You are always invited to drink a cup of tea or cofee. Please feel free to contact. This is a unusual example of Karabagh Prayer rug with a lovely abrashed indigo blue field. It has bold , unusual and large mihrab with interesting figures placed inside of mihrap. Attractive hooked diamond (Bordjalou-Kazak) Medallions and classic karabagh crab border make this piece very handsome. It has elegant color combination, Elegant blue field, madder red mihrab, important purple (aubergine <<< where we could understand that its a piece from Pre-1900) ivory field border and appear leaves soft yellow made a nice contrast on this attractive piece. The handle is quite dry & soft. This charming piece is in great condition for its own age. It has medium pile on the blue field , lower pile zones on red field and full pile zones in the border and very little part of the rug have restored by mastercraftsmen who spent lots of years on the restoration of antique rugs.
