This auction is for a Frederick Myers patented iron. This is a neat little iron which incorporates its own stand. The iron is about 4.5 inches long and 3 inches high. The patent can be viewed on google patents by typing in " MYERS IMPROVEMENT IN SAD IRONS " - this should take you to patent # 136612. The iron is in pretty good shape- no cracks or breaks- just typical corrossion usually found on a piece this old that has not been cleaned.
