This unusual antique plush and tin wind up toy monkey is licking an ice cream cone and he is about 6 1/2" tall. The figure is very well made with good attention to detail and he has a felt face, ears, hands, and feet. When you wind it up the monkey's head moves up and down and his red tin tongue goes in and out as he licks the ice cream cone. The orange plastic ball of ice cream that is in the tin cone has been replaced but it looks OK and the rest of the toy is in excellent original condition. It winds up and works well and displays very nicely. Ca. 1950s Japan. Payment Pa. residents please add an additional 6% sales tax or provide a tax exempt number.
