This is a solid silver vesta case measuring 1 & 7/8" tall by 1 & 1/2" across.It is hallmarked for London 1929.The hallmarks are clear but .I cannot quite make out the maker's name,it is ?.H.W. & Co.The lid is also hallmarked,the retailers name is shown on the inside of the lid as Philip Morris & Co Ltd,22 New Bond St,W.There is a registered number on the base, Rd. 638809.On the lid in block capitals is st amped 'A.E.R.'.It has been made in diamond form so as to give a 3-D effect when the lid is opened,along the lines of those puzzle=book pictures of diamond shaped boxes.As shown on the photos,the sides are open,possibly so as to enhance the effect.It is in good overall condition,the hinge works well,it opens and closes well.Postage is £1.50 UK by first-class post,£5.50 Europe and £6.50 Worldwide to be signed-for on delivery.Thank you for your interest.
