You are bidding on one (1) Vintage Perry Cutlery Co. N.Y. Figural single blade folding knife. The tiny blade swings in & out of the handle of the dinner knife. What makes this an unusual piece is that it is in the shape of a dinner knife with a extra small blade. The knife is made of metal. Stamped at the bottom of the swing out blade are the letters that I can read: "erry&Co. I believe it to be the Perry Cutlery Co. out of N.Y. They were in business 1919-129 and receive a three rating in collectability. Four stars being the highest. Stamped on the side of the handle are the following: "Rd247858. The tiny blade has been sharpened. The overall length opened is 4 3/8". The tiny swing out blade is just 3/4" long. Very tip of tiny blade is broke off. Blade snap is very good. Not sure of the exact age of this piece but it is a very old knife. Valued by the previous owner at $125.00-$150.00. He paid $75.00 for it some time ago. I have no idea what it is worth today. T is a very modest reserve of only $25.00 on this piece. I am not a knife collector. However, I am responsible for disposing of a large estate from a long time collector. I will be placing several items on Ebay over the next few months due to the size of the collection. The collection includes vintage military knifes, pocket knifes, figural knives, and much more.
