UNUSUAL GLASS PAPERWEIGHT IN GOD WE TRUST EAGLE DESIGN PATRIOTIC RED WHITE BLUE DEPRESSED CENTER This is a really unusual paperweight. The top center is concave which makes the image appear smaller than when it is viewed from the side. This very patriotic paperweight features an interior design of an eagle with wings spread. Red wording is found inside of a blue outline which reads: IN GOD WE TRUST. The eagle is seen clutching an olive branch and arrows. When the paperweight is turned over it appears as though the inside is white with a clear class surround. I have no idea of the age and origin of this paperweight. T are several chips (top, bottom and sides) and internal flaws (bubbles etc. ). The red and blue colors are a bit lighter than one would expect. This could be due to the heat encountered during manufacturing. This paperweight measures approx. 2 7/8" in diameter x 1 1/2" tall. T is some light soiling and it is in otherwise good condition.
