HARTSTONE POTTERY STONEWARE CARAFE ZANESVILLE, OHIO Hartstone Pottery is fully vitrified stoneware produced from the finest raw materials in North America. All ceramic products are handcrafted and decorated which makes each piece unique. This vintage modernist stoneware carafe measures 9 inches high, approximately 2 1/2 inches wide and 9 1/2 inches across the widest area. Really, in this case a picture is worth a thousand words (see photos). The inside is glazed and the outside is a natural clay unglazed finish. This carafe was designed to hold and serve wine, water and other cold drinks and keep them at a cooler temperature while on the table. It has the original cork and the bottom is hand signed Hartstone USA. The quality of craftsmanship of this vessel is excellent. The condition is like new with no chips, cracks or nicks. Wonderful conversation piece for the table!
