UNUSUAL Japanese STERLING SILVER salt-pepper TEA POT shaker & HIBACHI cellar SET An old & highly unusual Japanese sterling silver salt cellar & pepper shaket set. The pepper shaker is in form of a teapot with spout & movable handle, its vised lid with outlet holes is removable for refill. The salt cellar is a hibachi brazier/oven used in tea-ceremony with stylized cutouts & quadpod. Marked "Sterling 950-Asahi " with arising sun logo at the brazier's bottom. SIZE: teapot 1.5"H (handle down) x 1 3/16"W (spout included), brazier 1.25"H x 1.5"W . Total weight 40.5grCONDITION: Excellent with some nicks on the teapot's spout tip (see the last picture), unknown how & if it should be originally a liner and/or a (salt) spoon.
