Unusual Framed Vintage German Shepherd in Relief Bronzed -- Old Faithful Very unsual vintage deco 1920-30s (based on frame) bronzed German Shepherd in relief. Truly stunning! He is actually, as near as we can tell, copper, but certainly reminds us of old bronzed baby shoes ... but we guarantee t is no pup inside. Great detail, very lifelike, and with a well worn tag that says, as near as we can tell, Old Faithful. Such an intelligent expression -- and perhaps you German Shepherd lovers will know the correct time frame based on the very look of the dog, before hard breeding changed some of the characteristics of this wonderful dog. Fumed oak frame, one ding in the lower left corner, see picture below. No apologies for this piece otherwise, no dings, dents, missing details, cracks, etc. The dog is affixed to the copper colored painted tin back with rivets. Measures 12"x14-3/4" outside dimensions, dog himself is 9.5" tall, 4.5" wide, and extends out just over 3". Absolutely old, absolutely right -- see for yourself!
