This clock is blue delft with two delft tiles in it and it is in a wood and glass case with gilded iron work at the top and the bottom. T are two unusual weights on chains. The movement is an eight (8) day movement. I believe the movement to be German and the case made in Holland. Th e case is 23.5 inches tall and it is 9.5 inches wide. The clock measures from the chain to the top of the clock somew around 7 feet (the full wight day extension). T is an iron figure holding up a sp with a moon and star standing on top of a bell which is the strike and it strikes on the half hour and the hour. The hands are iron and the two weights are iron and quite heavy. The clock says made in Holland on the dial and I do believe the movement to be a German cookoo clock type. T is more iron work below the face of the clock. This is a very interesting and nice clock. The clock works and keeps good time. I have never seen another one like it. If you bid on this clock be aware that you will need to get the chimes in synchronization as shipping may affect the movement.
