This highly collectible cuckoo wall clock is strictly for the fun of the whimsical case design. The theme of the clock is WINE and the case represents a wine barrel with grape vines twined around it's perimeter. There is a banner (see photograph) below the cuckoo which says IN VINO VERAS (some letters are difficult to see but I think this is correct)...which loosely translates IN WINE IS TRUTH. Any Latin scholars out there can fine-tune my translation. The 30 hour mechanism runs and cuckoos properly. This will make a great back-bar wall clock or a conversation piece in your den or family room. And, in about 60 years it'll become a genuine antique!! For now---it's a really unusual and collectible cuckoo clock.
