You are bidding on a RARE Uncashed & Unsigned $25.00 United States Series E Savings Bond . This 38 year old bond has a issue date of 1976 , which was the Bi-Centennial Year of our country. Very unusual!!! It doesn't show up in the photos very well, but the bond has been folded down the middle and as you can see, it has a smudge on the front and back. The smudge appears a little darker in the photo than it actually is. That is not much of a deterrent for an unusual and rare Bicentennial year bond. This bond is being sold as-is. It is NOT redeemable and is being offered as a collector piece only. The persons name and social security number has been blocked, but is visible on the bond itself. It has no monetary value, is unsigned and non-transferrable.
