UNUSUAL SET RIDGWAYS 'GODIVA' SALT/PEPPER MID-LATE 19th UNUSUAL SET RIDGWAYS 'GODIVA' SALT/PEPPER MID-LATE 19th c. This beautiful set of salt and pepper shakers are from the firm of Ridgways, of Bedford Works, Shelton, Hanley, England. The mark shown was used prior to 1880. The pattern is 'Godiva", and the colors are solid, gilt trim on the body is also perfect. The top of the salt shaker had, many years ago, had the threads frozen, and over the years had been slightly marred in loosening. The shaker top is now free, and threads are good. The pepper shaker has an red enamel dot on top to signify it's contents. The shakers stand 4.25" h x 1 5/8" diameter. 4372 Item has been clearly identified, photographed, and described.
