Up for auction is an unusual Silver 925 marked Cloisonne Phoenix. As you can see from the pictures, the silver has tarnished and the tails feathers have some issues of missing enamel. They are very delicate. As far as I can see everything is intact except for the missing enamel. T is a screw that holds the leg in place and it is loose so, the bird is able to rotate around. I don't know what the base is made of - maybe bone? Anyway, if you need more pictures I have plenty. I have added more pictures of the damage which I think can be repaired. I have more pictures. The left tail feather has some damage near the bottom 1/3 of the feather and the middle one has the middle shaft that has come apart from the feathers and the right one is pretty solid. The red mounds of enamel look like jewels but are in fact enamel - one is discolored the other look ok. The backs of the feathers are very tarnished and you can see the drip marks from the metal at the top of the feather. Around the bird's neck t is one 'feather" that has lost it's enamel. It's an unusual piece and displays well from a distance. Please ask for more pictures, I could only load 12 He stands 14 inches tall from the base to the tip of the tallest feather. Width is about 9 inches across. **Just to let you know I re-use boxes and store them outside in the garage w t are smokers. This is not a smoke free house. Also, some of my collection is stored in boxes and some are on display. If smoke bothers you, please let me know and I will wash the item and try to clean it up and air it out as well as the box and packing material, just let me know. If it still bothers you, I always refund.** Thanks for looking. ** On another note, please do not buy or bid unless you read the description first -- I am NOT a professional photographer and I try to be complete in my description! I look at my listings on my computer and I try to match up the descriptions with the pictures. But, colors and resolutions tend to differ from computer to computer. So please READ and ask questions and I will try and help as much as I can. But, if you're not sure please just don't bid.***
