Unusual Toby Jug Tea Pot, Rare, Early 20thC. Unusual Toby Jug Tea Pot, Rare, Early 20thC. Painfully wince-inducing to a man, this tea pot tea pot personifies the sort of fun caricature that makes toby jugs so appealing to collectors – and in the case of this pot, (which dates to the early twentieth century) quite rare too, as I cannot find another. Unmarked to the base, it is in generally good condition except for crazing to the glaze, some rubs and flaking to the paint, and repairs to the broken lid (of which only a black over-painted chip on the rim is readily visible). Please view the larger photographs and judge for yourself – it is a lovely pot, charming and rich in detail. Size The teapot is 10” (24cms) wide from handle to spout, and stands 7.25” tall. Delivery It will be very securely wrapped, & insurance is included in the shipping cost. Domestic U.K. £7, E.U. £13, U.S. & Canada £17, Aus & NZ £19, fully insured. International buyers outside these areas please contact for postage costs. I combine postage on all my items.
