Unusual Utica Knife. Measuring 7 3/8" overall, the blade is 3" long, sharpened to 2 5/8" and it weighs 5 oz unboxed. Good shape, actually I don't think it was used much if at all. Which begs the question, WHAT was it used for? Obviously (at least to me) this is an industrial knife. More of a splitting tool of some kind, with the edge being straight ground and not particularly sharp and having that striking knob on the top of the blade. The handle scales are leather held in place with copper rivets. Neat piece for sure.

And remember..the more ya buy, the cheaper dey fly!

Priority Mail items are sent at actual shipping & insurance charges with a small charge for packaging. The packing charge is very reasonable. I take pride, not only in the items that I sell but the quality of the packing that I do. And while I have been avoiding this for a long time, continuing increases in the costs of packing materials make this necessary. Insurance is mandatory. Smaller items are sent via 1st class mail with insurance at a flat rate which also includes a charge to cover the cost of the mailing and the extra packing time. Foreign shipments have a flat $1.00 US packing fee in addition to the shipping costs. I do NOT use UPS, don't ask (and it sure ain't any cheaper!) PA buyers must add 6% sales tax or provide an exemption certificate. I accept checks, money orders, PayPal, cash at your discretion, equivalent amounts in gold bullion, or good Scotch, Bourbon or any other squeezings of the whiskey tree. No kids or cats, got too many of both.

If you are the winning bidder and are with paying with a check or money order, use the Ebay Checkout and tell me that. Just hit the Pay Now link on the Ebay invoice and select the Check - Money Order option. I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple items. I just like to have things cleared up every 10 days to 2 weeks. Just please email me, and tell me that you are either bidding or going to be bidding on other items (I don't need to know which ones). International bidders from the areas listed are welcome, if you are in an area that I do not sell to regularly, please email me first before making a bid. PayPal only on international shipments unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon. Please allow at least 24 hrs for me to get back with oversea's shipping costs.
