A small, Victorian, Staffordshire pottery Toby jug, of the "snuff taker", by Samson Smith, dating to the mid 19th Century. Wearing a dark blue coat, with green waistcoat and yellow trousers, and taking a pinch of snuff from a box in his left hand. Moulded mark on the base - S. Smith, Longton, 1851. Measuring 5.5" high and in perfect condition.
